All performances of Wolfgang's Magical Musical Circus have been cancelled as a direct result of the Government’s new border control measures requiring all arrivals into New Zealand to self-isolate for 14 days.

The performers in Wolfgang's Magical Musical Circus were due to arrive in New Zealand after midnight on Sunday 15 March when the border control measures took effect leaving Auckland Arts Festival with no choice but to cancel the season. Relaxed performance ticketholders will be contacted by the AAF team to arrange refunds.

The thrill of circus; the mayhem of Mozart.

Straight from the score and onto the stage, Mozart appears amid a storm of powder, tumbling and twirling, as musical mayhem and movement fuse in this family show with a circus twist.

To those who know him, he is Wolfgang, the dart-playing ratbag. To those who are watching and listening, he is the wigged genius Mozart. Come and discover his irrepressible spirit and vibrant compositions through physical comedy and mischievous antics.

Reinventing the composer’s magical music, this skilful and illuminating show features Circa’s dexterous daredevil artists and a live accordionist. Watch as the notes are physically lifted off the page as performers bring the renowned compositions to life in a hilarious and high-spirited act young ones will fall head over heels in love with.
