A special event linked to the season of UPU – a re-RE-imagining of poetry and identity

In this special one-off FREE event, Deaf and NZSL–fluent performers will present select poems featured in UPU, but interpreted into New Zealand Sign Language poetry and visual languages.

The performance will have no formal interpretation into speech. This will be followed by an interpreted discussion between the Deaf and hearing creatives about poetry across languages and cultures.

For Deaf and hearing audiences alike – nau mai haere mai!
